Lawrence Rocks Sexy See-Through Top at LAX: Is She Teasing Her Met Gala Look?!
Looks like someone’s street style is seriously on point…
Jennifer Lawrence was spotted on Friday at LAX, where the 24-year-old Oscar Winner looked effortlessly cool and casual as she arrived at the airport. The American Hustle star was believed to be catching a flight to NYC in anticipation of her gig as co-host of the 2015 Met Gala.
Wearing her hair tied back in a loose ponytail and a cool pair of aviator shades, the Silver Linings star rocked low-slung cropped back plants and a crochet see-through top which she teamed with studded loafer flats.
The actress appeared to arrive at the airport solo, keeping her head tilted down as she strolled past the parade of prying paps while wearing minimal makeup and flaunting her toned tummy thanks to her super-lowrise pants.
Meanwhile, the Hunger Games star, who has been incredibly focused on work as of late, was most recently spotted reuniting with Chris Martin, whom she has been seeing off and on since August 2014.
The two enjoyed a date at famed NYC eatery Tavern on the Green, where the couple didn’t hide from fans, even requesting a center table so Lawrence “could see the park.”
“They talked quietly and seemed very happy,” a source told E! News of the duo.
Lawrence is currently filming X-Men: Apocalypse and she recently confirmed to MTV News that the film will mark the last time she plays Mystique in the famous superhero franchise. She also recently completed filming Joy, which is directed by David O. Russell and will reteam Lawrence and Bradley Cooper for the fourth time.
‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Is Final Sequel for Jennifer Lawrence
Last week, it was reported that X-Men: Apocalypse will most likely mark Nicholas Hoult’s final performance as Beast for the franchise. Now, in a new interview with MTV, co-star Jennifer Lawrence is stating the same thing. Though, where Nicholas Hoult claimed he’d return if asked, Jennifer Lawrence seems pretty confident that this latest franchise sequel will mark her last appearance as shape shifter Mystique. When asks if she is done after her third go at the character, she quite simply states:
“It is my last one. Yes.”
Bryan Singer is set to return for X-Men: Apocalypse, which is confirmed to take place in the 80s. While no other story details have been released, it has long been confirmed that the movie will serve as the end of a trilogy which began with 2011’s X-Men: First Class and continued in 2014’s X-Men: Days of Future Past. While it is pretty clear that both Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult will return for X-Men: Apocalypse, 20th Century Fox has not yet confirmed the main cast for the movie.
Those who have been confirmed are mostly new actors, which include Oscar Isaac as the title villain, Alexandra Shipp as Young Storm, Sophie Turner as Young Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan as young Scott Summer (aka Cyclops) and Kodi Smit-McPhee as young Nightcrawler. Rose Byrne, who last appeared in X-Men: First Class, will reprise her role as ex-CIA agent Moira MacTaggert. It remains to be seen if these newest additions to the cast will appear in future installments of the franchise, but that is very likely. What do you think about this being Nicholas Hoult and Jennifer Lawrence’s final X-Men movie? Is it too soon to see them go?
X-Men: Apocalypse comes to theaters May 27th, 2016 and stars Oscar Isaac, Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Rose Byrne, Kodi Smit-McPhee. The film is directed by Bryan Singer.
Is Jennifer Lawrence going to play Patty Hearst?
Jennifer Lawrence could star as Patty Hearst in an upcoming Hollywood film based on Jeffrey Toobin’s book about the publishing heiress, who was kidnapped by the Symbionese Liberation Army in 1974.
Fox 2000 is developing the project with “Big Eyes” screenwriters Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski. Former Disney big Nina Jacobson is one of the producers.
Hollywood blog Deadline reported the lead role could be for Lawrence, although it’s just been a “cursory conversation.”
Toobin’s book will be published by Doubleday next year.
Hearst later served nearly two years in jail after being brainwashed by her captors, then going on an infamous bank-robbing crime spree with them.
