Larry David responds to Jennifer Lawrence’s ‘below the belt’ crush on him

Larry David has responded to Jennifer Lawrence’s attentions, telling David Remnick at The New Yorker Festival on Saturday that he was “flattered” by the 24-year-old’s crush on him.

“It’s a shame that I’m about 40 years older than she is,” he said.

Lawrence told Vanity Fair this month that she was “in love” with the 67-year-old Curb Your Enthusiasm star and Seinfeld co-creator.

“I have been for a really long time,” she said. “I worship Woody Allen, but I don’t feel it below the belt the way I do for Larry David.”

“Maybe she’s referring to her knees,” David joked. “I don’t think I could do it. On one hand it’s very flattering and on another hand, it’s kind of a shame in terms of timing.”

“I’d have fun watching the reality show of it though,” he added.

Lawrence is rumored to be dating Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

Wendy Williams Tells Jennifer Lawrence to Shut Up and Be Grateful for Her Hacked Nudes

Most owners of a brain are now aware that the mass hacking of celebrity nudes was not a scandal but a sex crime, as Jennifer Lawrence bravely emphasized when she broke her silence to Vanity Fair this week. But it seems some people still don’t fucking get it. One of those people is Wendy Williams.

On her talk show yesterday Williams addressed Lawrence’s V.F. feature, and the victim-blaming word vomit just would not stop. Williams focuses on this statement of Lawrence’s in particular:

“Just because I’m a public figure, just because I’m an actress, does not mean that I asked for this. It does not mean that it comes with the territory. It’s my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting.”

After reading that out the audience claps, because duh, Jennifer Lawrence is 100% correct. It’s absolutely disgusting. But Williams then gleefully admits she looked at the photos “several times” before asking the audience to clap (really, Wendy? A raise of hands wouldn’t work here?) if they have too, in an absolutely disgusting show of solidarity for perpetrating an illegal act.

Obviously some people didn’t clap, but Williams refuses to believe that not everyone is an asshole and straight-up accuses them of lying.

“Jennifer Lawrence, don’t sweat this, young lady,” she continues. “You’re the one who took the pictures.” And after pointing that her long-distance boyfriend (presumably Nicholas Hoult) is still going to look at porn regardless of whether he also has your nudes, which is probably true but definitely unfair:

“In my opinion, if she would just stop talking about the cloud, and the naked pictures, it would go away. We’d forget about it! Besides Jen, you don’t look bad under your clothes, and I think the hacking has actually made your career even hotter. She was red-hot before, but now it’s like heat-seeking missile hot. So hold your head up with pride!”

Translation: Hey ladies! Don’t bother calling out sexual offenses, just go shopping or something to take your mind off the horror and illegality of the situation. And FYI, committing sex crimes against women is totes cool if the victim is young and hot. They should thank you for making them even hotter, those ungrateful floozies!

The only funny part about this is Wendy telling Lawrence to STFU already when the V.F. feature is literally the first time she’s addressed this. I think it’s pretty obvious who needs to stop talking here.

Nicholas Hoult Breaks Silence on Ex-Girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence’s Stolen Nude Pics: “It’s a Shame”

Nicholas Hoult has finally spoken out about the unfortunate nude photo scandal that affected ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence—and no lie, it was kinda awkward.

The actor appeared on Good Day New York to promote his new film Young Ones with director Jake Paltrow (yep, that’s Gwyneth Paltrow’s brother, which only makes this even more interesting since J.Law is now dating Gwyneth’s ex-hubby Chris Martin), and in the middle of their interview, the reporter decides to bring up the hacking.

She began by saying, “Speaking of friends, Jennifer Lawrence, she’s been making a lot of news lately because of the pictures that were hacked and I think they might have been pictures that were sent to you.” Yep, she went there, and kept rambling about the topic until she finally gave Hoult a chance to respond.

Staying cool, calm and collected, Hoult simply responded with, “It’s shocking that things like that happen in the world. It’s a shame.”

His comment on the incident comes just a day after J.Law Lawrence broke her silence about having dozens of nude pictures stolen and distributed online. “I was just so afraid,” she told Vanity Fair. “I didn’t know how this would affect my career.”

She continued, “Just because I’m a public figure, just because I’m an actress, does not mean that I asked for this. It does not mean that it comes with the territory. It’s my body, and it should be my choice, and the fact that it is not my choice is absolutely disgusting. I can’t believe that we even live in that kind of world.”

Lawrence was tempted to write a statement in August, but reconsidered. “Every single thing that I tried to write made me cry or get angry. I started to write an apology, but I don’t have anything to say I’m sorry for. I was in a loving, healthy, great relationship [with Hoult] for four years,” she recalls. “It was long distance, and either your boyfriend is going to look at porn or he’s going to look at you.”

Jennifer targeted to be in World War Z II?

It Seems that the World War Z 2 release date has been rumored to be confirmed for late 2015.

Aside from the release date, a few details about the cast have also been making the rounds off the internet, thanks to fans and speculators.

Brad Pitt is definitely back to star as Gerry Lane, the zombie-fighting United Nations employee who manages to win against the enemy (temporarily) in the first movie. Pitt is also set to produce alongside Jeremy Kleiner and Dede Gardner.

As to casting, although there is still no confirmation from the producers, speculators are pretty positive about names like Jennifer Lawrence to be casted and to play alongside Brad Pitt in the upcoming sequel. Perhaps she could play as his new love interest?

In another angle, details about the production for the sequel have also been released online, According to Latino Post, sighting another source:

“According to The Guardian, Juan Antonio Bayona will be helming part two. He had directed ‘The Impossible,’ which was critically acclaimed and grossed $180 million. It also got Naomi Watts an Academy Award nomination. ‘His previous film, well-received horror curio ‘The Orphanage,’ showed he can handle World War Z-style shocks,’ the news source added.”

In regards to who will write the screenplay for the second movie, Paramount has reportedly proceeded with a new screenwriter, Steven Knight, responsible for Martin Scorsese’s “Shutter Island”, and other movies such as “Pretty Little Things” and “Eastern Promises” Screen Crush is quick to suggest that it should still be Damon Lindelof and Drew Goddard on retainer, that is “If Pramount’s smart” Screen Crush further added that: “The duo punched up the original ‘Z’ script, and – if reports are accurate – concocted the new, suspenseful ending that saw Pitt’s character maneuver through a zombie-infested W.H.O. Building.”

Aside from the cast and the new screenwriter, however, what excites fans about the World War Z 2 release date is the plot. reports have mentioned that the plot for the sequel will obviously be a continuation of where the first movie left off. It’s pretty much self-explanatory that the first movie was clearly a cliff hanger, and so fans are quick to note that the sequel will be picking up from there. Also according to Latino Post: “‘Plot details for the next World War Z are being kept under wraps but the storyline is expected to continue from where Marc Forster’s movie left off,’ The Independent predicted. While this is expected, the gray area would be how the filmmakers will mine the Max Brooks novel, which the film is based on, and create a story with more depth and relevance.”
