Supporting the home team! Jennifer Lawrence went home for the holidays and caused a big stir in Louisville, Kentucky. The 24-year-old Oscar winner visited a children’s hospital on Christmas Eve before attended a Louisville Cardinals basketball game on Saturday, Dec. 27.
Wearing a black Cardinals T-shirt and red cap, the Hunger Games actress threw up the “L” symbol in the stands as the crowd cheered. She was also filmed chanting the signature “C-A-R-D-S” cheer with some friends.
The Cardinals lost to the Kentucky Wildcats by eight points, but Lawrence’s appearance at the game was the highlight.
Lawrence also spent Christmas Eve at the Kosair Children’s Hospital, visiting young patients unannounced. Several photos of the trip were posted online.
